I can well imagine. And I can see the guy in the control booth with his
finger poised over the "BEEEEEEP" button and thanking providence that 
there is a delay loop built into the system.   Bv)=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Rain Delay
 Categories: Five, Beverages, Booze, Beer
      Yield: 2 shooters

      1 tb Sugar
      1 tb Black peppercorns
  1 1/2 oz Gold rum
      1 oz Cynar
      2 oz Pale ale

  Lightly crack the peppercorns and place in a shaker with
  the sugar, rum, cynar, and ale. Add crushed ice. Cover
  and shake with vigor until well blended.

  Strain into two glasses, toast the rain beating on the
  windowpane and drink.
